Common questions

My Strava activities aren't syncing
  1. In the Vici app, go to Profile → Connections. Make sure Strava shows as Connected.
  2. If it shows Disconnected, tap Reconnect Strava and re-authorize.
  3. New activities appear in Vici within a few minutes of syncing to Strava. Sync delays are usually on Strava's end — check status.strava.com.
  4. If Strava is up and you've waited 10+ minutes with no sync, see Still stuck? at the bottom — include your Strava athlete ID and we'll dig in.
My data isn't loading

If a screen shows a spinner forever, a blank state where data should be, or stale numbers that don't match what you'd expect:

  1. Pull down to refresh. Home, Plan, Log, and Analytics all refresh on pull-to-refresh — this is the fastest fix for a stale view.
  2. Check your connection. Toggle Wi-Fi off and on, or switch between Wi-Fi and cellular. Vici needs network to fetch your plan, activities, and coaching feed.
  3. Log out and back in. Profile → Settings → Log Out, then sign in again. This refreshes your authentication token and fixes most stuck states caused by an expired session.
  4. Force-close and reopen. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, find the Vici card, swipe it up off the screen, then reopen the app.
  5. If 1–4 don't work, see Still stuck? with the screen you were on and what you expected to see.
My training plan looks wrong

Vici builds plans from your recent running history, personal bests, and goals. The most common cause of off-feeling paces is stale personal bests.

  1. Open Profile → Personal Bests. Update anything that doesn't reflect your current fitness.
  2. To adjust the plan in real time, just talk to the coach. From the feed, tap any coaching card and say what you need — "slow these paces down," "add a rest day today," "I'm feeling tired this week," or "I'm peaking, can we push?"
  3. Vici rewrites your plan every Sunday based on what you actually ran the week before. If the plan feels off after a Sunday, ask the coach to explain why a workout is structured the way it is.
I can't log in or my verification code isn't working
  1. Codes expire after 5 minutes. On the verify screen, tap Resend code for a fresh one.
  2. Check your spam or junk folder — verification emails sometimes land there, especially on Hotmail and AOL.
  3. Make sure you're entering the same email you originally signed up with.
  4. If 1–3 don't work, see Still stuck? — we can verify your account manually.
The app crashed or I see "Something Went Wrong"
  1. Force-close: swipe up from the bottom of the screen, find the Vici card, swipe it up off the screen, then reopen.
  2. Update via the App Store: open the App Store, search for Vici, and check that you're on the latest version.
  3. Toggle network: turn Wi-Fi off and on, or switch between Wi-Fi and cellular.
  4. Restart your iPhone if the crash repeats.
  5. If 1–4 don't fix it, see Still stuck? with the screen you were on, what you were trying to do, your app version (Profile → Settings → About), and a screenshot if you can grab one. We'll dig into the logs.
I want to delete my account

Open Vici → Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Deletions have a 30-day grace period — during that window your data can be restored if you change your mind. After 30 days everything is permanently removed per our Privacy Policy.

I want to change my email, distance units, or other settings

Open Vici → Profile → Settings. Most preferences live there: email, distance units, time-of-day defaults, notifications, connections.

Privacy, data, and integrations (Strava, Apple Health, WHOOP)

You can view, export, or delete your data anytime from inside Vici (Profile → Settings → Privacy).

I want to share feedback or report a bug

We're still early and your feedback genuinely shapes the roadmap. Two ways to reach us, in order of fastest:

  1. In-app: Send Feedback. Tap the menu () icon in the top-left, then Send Feedback. Best for general feedback — what's working, what's not, what's missing.
  2. Email support@vici.run. Best for longer feedback, feature requests, bug reports, or anything that needs a back-and-forth. A screenshot of what you saw helps a lot.
